Tidewater Nature Club, LLC is a faith-based outdoor learning community. We offer science/nature lessons for homeschool families in the Navarre/Gulf Breeze community every Friday, designed for elementary and middle school (ages 5-14) . We are an approved direct-pay provider with Step Up For Students. (Click for details on How To Reserve Funds.)

OUR PROGRAM:

-Nature-Based Science Lesson: Explore plants, animals, and God's creation through engaging, meaningful ideas. New topics every week will included a Lesson Guide for each student. (See more under "Extend the Learning at Home" below.)

-Hike & Exploration: Enjoy unhurried time outdoors, observing, discovering, and connecting with the natural world

-Nature Journaling: Build the habit of attention through guided prompts, sketching, and recording observations

-Group Discussion: Share ideas, reflect on experience, and engage in meaningful conversation

-Narration & Recitation: Opportunities for students to share a memory verse, poetry, or present their nature journal

-Hands-On Activity or Experiment: Reinforce learning through meaningful, hands-on experiences connected to the lesson

-Bible & Devotional Time: Connect each week's theme to Scripture, pointing students to truth, beauty, and God's design

We have invested in the Nat Theo Club Full Access Membership for Groups. 

LOCATION + TIME:

Tidewater Nature Club takes place outdoors in local parks, trails, and beaches. We meet every Friday from 10:00am-12:00pm, and many families stay around after to enjoy social time near the water.  This is not a drop-off program. A parent or guardian must attend. Younger siblings are welcome (at no additional cost for ages 4 and under). Oldest child must be at least 5+. 

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT:

Spots are intentionally limited to keep the group small, relational, and high-quality. It's led by two experienced instructors, allowing for a more personal, guided, and engaging experience for each child. Spots are only held with payment.  

Registration Fee (one time per student per school year):  $100

4-Week Nature Study Session Fee:  $85/month

EXTEND THE LEARNING AT HOME:

Each student receives a Lesson Guide (prepared packet of information) designed to carry the experience beyond our weekly time together and into your home. This resource allows children to revisit what they learned, deepen their understanding, and continue building meaningful connections throughout the week at their own pace.

-Lesson Guide & Diagrams: Review key ideas and reinforce understanding with clear visuals

-Photos & Video Links: Revisit what we observed and continue learning through engaging, at-home content 

-Podcast Recommendations: Listen and learn more about the week's topic in an easy, enjoyable way

-Activities & Extensions: Simple, hands-on ideas to keep curiosity alive during the week

-Copywork & Scripture Memory: Strengthen handwriting and attention while hiding God's word in your heart

-Coloring Page & Creative Work

These resources are designed to be flexible and life-giving, not overwhelming. Whether you choose to use a little or a lot... they provide a beautiful way to reinforce leaning, encourage good habits, and keep the wonder of the week's discoveries alive in your home.

Due to limited class sizes, payments are non-refundable. Please contact us if you have questions prior to registering. 

Weather Policy

Classes are held outdoors and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of severe weather. 

Attendance Policy

Consistent attendance is encouraged, but not required.
